The Forest Unseen: A Year's Watch in Nature - David George Haskell I like Mr Haskell's reading style, I feel like I'm transported right there to his little experiment field, squatting next to him and listening in awe what he has to say. :)

The thing is, he is not disturbing wildlife at all, he is not poking around with a stick nor touching etc. He just is there and watches what comes along, is it an animal or a plant that grows. He is analysing everything for us. The language he uses to describe the world around us is beautiful.

I never thought that there was that much going on during the year on one square meter, less that are that many animals and plants and whatnot. I gained insights in the natural history I would not have if it wasnt for this book. Really cool! Thank you!
