Forever Mine (The Moreno Brothers, #1)

Forever Mine (The Moreno Brothers, #1) - Elizabeth Reyes I haven't read a "first love" story in ages, but I thought I give it a try. At times it felt really cheesy and a bit clumsy. But the clumsiness and nonsense teenage talk was, what made it feel real for me. Like hey, that could have been you, you know? I was thinking back a bit about how I was at sweet sixteen and it made me nostalgic. I really fell in love with the main characters Sarah and Angel. Angel must be some hottie, I wouldn't let him go either. :) Sarah is sweet, I was really grateful she was not a cheerleader but on the track team, that made her so much more likeable. Some lines in there made me laugh out loud and sometimes I laughed so hard that my stomach hurt. At other times though, it was really silly and the plot was rather predictable but who cares?

Guess what - it turns out I didn't waste my time but had a good one. :)

If I were not turned off my "on/off" stories I might have given the story of Valerie + Alex a try ...
